We at Huntsville Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and following the model of the New Testament Church are united:

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God, and are the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative standard by which all human conduct, beliefs, and religious opinions are to be tried. The criterion by which the Scriptures are to be interpreted is Jesus Christ.

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God, and are the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative standard by which all human conduct, beliefs, and religious opinions are to be tried. The criterion by which the Scriptures are to be interpreted is Jesus Christ.
ACCEPTED BELIEFS
As a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, the beliefs of this church are in general accord with beliefs characteristic among Baptist people and are in line with the Baptist Faith Message of the Southern Baptist Convention.
